Tambearly International School is seeking teachers who are committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration as part of a school wide team.

Teacher responsibilities include:

  • Participate in collaborative orientation, training, curriculum development, and school-wide functions.

  • Demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students’ personal and academic success.

  • Foster and manage a safe, positive learning experience by modeling respect and good rapport, managing classroom procedures and student behavior, and organizing a safe physical space for student learning.

  • Plan, prepare, and instruct lessons that set high expectations for student achievement.    

  • Design and implement assessments that measure progress.

  • Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.

  • Integrate STEM enhanced theme into teaching and assessment practice where students participate in challenging "hands-on, mind-on" activities to explore careers and observe STEM applications in the "real world." (math and science teachers) 

  • Implement differentiated instruction in the classroom to meet the needs of all students.

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues in supporting students emotional and social development.

  • Provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior.

Applicant Qualifications:

  • Full-time positions- Bachelor’s degree required, masters degree preferred

  • Teaching certificate 

  • Specialization in the subject/grade level.

  • Must have at least three years classroom experience. 

  • High School teachers- AP subject area certification and experience teaching AP level instruction.

  • Science teachers- experience working with STEAM programs preferred.
